I love it when a bride’s natural style brings out the best in the Payne-Corley House. Combine great style with 68 degree weather (and no humidity) and it really doesn’t get much better. Katie Snyder and Thomas Fowler planned a very southern, slightly country-fied wedding celebration and had some great touches that really made their event unique. One of my favorites were the favors. It's often said that favors are "for the birds" but this time it really was true! Katie's handpainted tree served as her guest book for friends to “leaf” their thumbprints. Katie used our house florist Abby’s Floral Design whose use of antique vases and mason jars gave the design a bit of a rustic look. Along with a custom designed groom’s cake by our always delicious baker For Goodness Cakes, the guests enjoyed Orange, Root Beer, and Coke Floats for dessert. Nicole Puckett, a local photographer captured the event.
