Amber and Teddy’s spring wedding took full advantage of the Payne-Corley House’s seasonal magic. Amber chose the front lawn for her wedding ceremony with the home as the backdrop. Her classic style was evident in the selection of every elegant detail, from the flowers and programs to her charming cupcake cake.Read More
In honor of Veteran's Day this weekend we had to share these amazing photos from Rachel and Patrick's wedding here at the Payne-Corley House. All of the wedding details were gorgeous for this beautiful fall day but we have to admit that Patrick's service dog Ripple, stole the show.
Thank you Patrick, all our Veteran's and their families, who have sacrificed so much for our country and make it possible to enjoy all the freedom we have today.

The leaves just started to turn for Helen and Dae's fall at the Payne-Corley House. An indoor ceremony was planned followed by a seated dinner. We especially loved the couple's catchy hastag #helensspecialdae. So cute.Read More
Beautiful reds brightened the subtle tones of winter for Ally and Lee's January wedding. Gold was also incorporated throughout from the invitations, to the hand painted wedding cake and the bride's accessories.Read More
Carson and Jonathan planned a classic wedding incorporating the blooming colors of spring into their early April celebration. The couple's florist Adaptation Floral Designs used inspiration from the vibrant flowers on the invitation in Carson's bouquet. Guest tables were decorated with the Payne-Corley House centerpieces and accenting flowers in single vases.Read More
This was one of my favorite weddings ever! Cynthia and Justin enjoyed every minute and laughed endlessly while planning the details for their wedding day. It takes a special couple to be married on Halloween and Cynthia and Justin fully embraced it. Some of my favorite moments were the "candy kids" running down the aisle, throwing candy (in lieu of flowers of course) to "The Adams Family." Cynthia's maid of honor Amanda handled all the decor and crafted the most beautiful paper flowers for the bouquets. The detail was unbelievable! Cynthia and Justin judged the costume contest (sorry we can't show you the winner, it was X rated). I also loved the cake "knife". The staff was excited because we dressed up too.Read More
This was a very special wedding for us at the Payne-Corley House. Even though they were booked for over a year, I only met Emily a few weeks before the wedding! Emily's parents came in and booked without her even seeing the venue and mom Cheri did most of the planning since Emily was out of town. Unfortunately, Emily and Jordan missed our annual tasting because they were snowed in in North Carolina. So once again mom and dad made all the menu choices.Read More
The heat of summer is almost a faint memory now but I couldn't forget about this great August wedding! I was so excited to get my disk in the mail today from Matt Miller at Our Labor of Love. This was Matt's first shoot here at the Payne-Corley House and he had a great couple for it and the pictures were amazing.Read More
With cooler temperatures the past few days, I started thinking about how much I love fall weddings! I immediately thought about Anna and Mike Rock's wedding last November and wanted to share it with you.Read More
I love it when a bride’s natural style brings out the best in the Payne-Corley House. Combine great style with 68 degree weather (and no humidity) and it really doesn’t get much better. Katie Snyder and Thomas Fowler planned a very southern, slightly country-fied wedding celebration and had some great touches that really made their event unique. One of my favorites were the favors. It's often said that favors are "for the birds" but this time it really was true! Katie's handpainted tree served as her guest book for friends to “leaf” their thumbprints. Katie used our house florist Abby’s Floral Design whose use of antique vases and mason jars gave the design a bit of a rustic look. Along with a custom designed groom’s cake by our always delicious baker For Goodness Cakes, the guests enjoyed Orange, Root Beer, and Coke Floats for dessert. Nicole Puckett, a local photographer captured the event.Read More
