…With Dutch lavender, English thyme and lemon balm but not necessary all in a row!  At The Payne-Corley House not only is all of the delicious food prepared on site but some of it is even grown here. Figs and pears are harvested fresh from our fruit trees and herbs are grown in Chef Michael’s all-organic year round garden.  These herbs are used in some of the savory dishes that you will and your guests will enjoy.  It was started seven years ago to enhance the already naturally beautiful grounds and to give access to fresh product just a stone’s throw away from the kitchen.

With record heat this weekend in Atlanta (reaching 106!) it has been refreshing to look back at the beautiful pictures from Bill and Lori’s wedding in March; a cool, early spring day when tulip trees were in bloom.  The ceremony was at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church followed by a formal sit-down dinner.  Bill and Lori were lovers of all things food and beverage so naturally, we became great friends and they were thrilled to find that Chef Michael Ganley could accommodate their special requests.  They asked their photographer Ray Tisdale of 35 Atlanta to step in to the kitchen to capture pictures of the meal in progress.
